Bacteria on the surface of the tongue
HalitosisOpen Pop-up Dialog
Bad breath, also known as bad breath, can be bothersome and in some cases even cause anxiety. It’s no wonder the shelves are full of chewing gum, mint, mouthwash, and other products designed to help with bad breath. However, many of these products are only temporary measures as they do not address the root cause of the problem.
- Certain foods, health conditions, and habits are among the causes of bad breath. In many cases, you can improve bad breath if you maintain good dental hygiene. If simple self-care techniques don’t solve the problem, check with your dentist or doctor to make sure a more serious condition isn’t causing your bad breath.Bad breath Treatment Hyderabad
symptom
Bad breath odors vary depending on the source or underlying cause. Some people worry too much about their breath even if they have little or no odor in their mouth, while others have bad breath and don’t know it. Since it is difficult to judge the smell of your own breath, ask a close friend or relative to confirm your questions about bad breath.
The reasons
Most bad breath starts in the mouth and there are many possible causes. They include:
- Eat. The breakdown of food particles in and around your teeth can multiply bacteria and cause a foul odor. Eating certain foods like onions, garlic, and spices can also cause bad breath. Once you digest these foods, they enter your bloodstream, travel to your lungs, and affect your breathing.
- Tobacco products. Smoking your own unpleasant mouth creates odors. Smokers and oral tobacco users are also more likely to experience gum disease, another source of bad breath.
- Bad dental hygiene. If you don’t brush and drip daily, food particles will stick in your mouth and cause bad breath. A colorless, sticky film of bacteria (plaque) forms on your teeth. If plaque is not brushed, gums can irritate the gums and eventually create plaque-filled pockets between the teeth and gums (periodontal disease). Your tongue can also trap odor-causing bacteria. Dentures that are not cleaned regularly or that do not fit properly can contain odor-causing bacteria and food particles.
- Dry mouth. Saliva helps clean your mouth and remove particles that cause bad smells. A condition known as dry mouth or xerostomia (zeer – o-STOE-me-uh) can cause bad breath because there is less saliva production. Dry mouth occurs naturally during sleep and causes “morning breathing”. If you sleep with your mouth open it will get worse. Chronic dry mouth can be caused by a problem with your salivary glands and certain diseases.Bad breath Treatment Hyderabad
