Charcot (Shahr-KOH) Marie-Tooth disease is a group of inherited diseases that cause nerve damage. This damage mainly affects the arms and legs (peripheral nerves). Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is also known as hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy.

Risk factors
