Pubic lice, commonly known as crabs, are tiny insects found in your genital area. This is a different type of lice than head lice and body lice. Pubic lice measuring 1.6 millimeters or less got their nickname because their bodies resemble tiny crabs.
The most common way to get pubic lice is through sexual activity. Pubic lice can be found in the eyebrows or eyelashes in children and can be a sign of sexual abuse. Risk factors
People with other sexually transmitted infections are also more likely to get pubic lice.
