Achal Dodia(he/him) is an artist and a writer who aspires to create multidisciplinary work through on-ground research and engagement by producing many narratives in different forms. His usual approach is story-telling through writing and comic drawings, however he also explores his emotions by understanding the architecture of a city through its bar of safety. Achal loves to collaborate and meet with new people to create more engaging and practical work through drawing, writing, creating comics and translations. He could talk and listen for hours over a coffee or a wine. In his leisure time, he makes handmade diaries and collects matchboxes too.

Ritu Khoda is a coach, social entrepreneur, award-winning author, producer of critically acclaimed films, TEDx speaker, and founder of Art1st and Little Light.
Inspired by her son’s interaction with art in his early years, Ritu’s passion for the visual arts met pedagogy, and Art1st was born. With Art1st, holding the child at the centre, Ritu began challenging the existing paradigm of a myopic outlook of arts in schools by developing a full-fledged Visual Arts Curriculum for PreK to Grade 8.

She created a common platform for sharing new thinking and research in art education through initiatives at various levels -- An interactive lab for preschoolers, Studio Explorations for elementary school children, the Partner a Master: Artist-Mentor Program for teenagers, and the Open Minds platform for educators. Through these initiatives, she has been able to systematise art education at the school level, enhance the capabilities of teachers and define new standards for teaching and learning arts at the school level. To complement the Art Education Program, she introduced children to the exciting world of Indian visual art through her award-winning books and has produced critically acclaimed films on Indian artists.

Little Light, on the other hand, grew from Ritu’s spiritual practice and compassion toward children. From her pedagogical experience through Art1st, Little Light was built around the Pedagogy of Self, a curriculum that seeks to make children more centred and balanced in a world concentrated on its extremes.

Ritu holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from IIM Kolkata and a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi.

Senalda brings her love for children and children's literature to her role as an Editorial Coordinator. Her background ranges from writing and editing, to therapy and assessment with children. These days, she spends much of her free time being fascinated by traditional Indian textile and teaching herself how to sew. She has a B.A degree in English, Journalism and Psychology from St. Joseph's College, Bangalore, and an MSc in Developmental Psychology from the University of Lincoln, UK.

Shreyashi's skills lie in documentation, archiving, and research-led projects.

Sukriti Datt is a visual artist from College of Art, New Delhi. After studying Painting, she later worked in various organizations related to Research and Development in the field of Art. Currently, she is a full time practising artist and working as an Artist Mentor with Art1st. Her practice deeply explores the relationship of 'self' in the context of her immediate surroundings through the lens of material exploration and technique. She has been actively participating in exhibitions and workshops since 2011 and her works are in private collections in Austria and India. Etching, installations and ceramic are her other areas of interest.
