The tongue (ankyloglossia) is a condition that occurs at birth and restricts the range of motion of the tongue.The tongue clip is an unusually short, thick, or narrow band of tissue (lingual frenulum) that attaches the underside of the tip of the tongue to the floor of the mouth, which can affect breastfeeding.
