Signs and symptoms can vary widely in girls and women with triple X syndrome. Many have no noticeable effects or only mild symptoms.

Sometimes significant symptoms can appear. When signs and symptoms are present, they are often variable. Signs and symptoms in girls and women with triple X syndrome may include an increased risk:

Delayed development of speech and language and motor skills such as sitting and walking
Learning difficulties such as reading difficulties (dyslexia), comprehension, or math

The reasons

Although triple X syndrome is genetic, it is usually not inherited – it is due to some random genetic error.

Typically, humans have 46 chromosomes in each cell, organized into 23 pairs, including two sex chromosomes. One set of chromosomes comes from the mother and the other from the father. These chromosomes contain genes that contain instructions that determine everything from size to eye color.

The pair of sex chromosomes – XX or XY – determines the sex of a child. A mother can only give the child one X chromosome, but a father can pass one X or Y chromosome:

If the child receives an X chromosome from the father, the XX pair genetically makes the child a female.
If the child receives a Y chromosome from the father, the XY pair means that the child is genetically male. XXX syndrome Treatment in Hyderabad
